The Ache…

Many of you who have visited my blog over the year may have been wondering about my lack of posting lately. My repatriation demands the development of a new Rhythm, which therefore requires some organization. My time is being consumed by a new job, my inspiration must find a new muse, and my drive to write which is wanting for more, requires a new push.

With the close of this 2012 within close-range, I have decided to make a strong effort to write. The need to write is burning in my heart, the desire to connect with you is high, and the necessity to complete book two, and have it published is aching. If you can pray, say one for me please. 🙂 Thank You.

Since this is boxing day, let me extend Merry Christmas greetings to you and yours. There was nothing for me to box today, except I facilitated the movement of boxes of items from one location to the homes of needy people within my town. This activity was ably undertaken by some members of the Portsmouth Catholic Young Adults Movement (depicted in this photo above.) Now, that makes me happy, for Christmas is also about bringing cheer to the less fortunate. You must know that after three years of being away from home, it was wonderful spending Christmas at home again. Prior to Christmas day, I visited the Northern District’s Home for the Aged where the elders were treated with sweet steel pan music, pulsating jing-ping music, some dancing, and great tasty foods and drinks. I took the time to interview a few key leaders, whose thoughts were shared with the public later that evening, via the “Ceez-the-Moment” radio show being most recently hosted by me, on the Possie Vibrations Radio (88.5fm Sundays 6:00 – 8:00pm for Portsmouth and Environs) That set the tone for my Christmas celebrations. The joy of playing those Christmas music for my listeners, and the interaction via telephone, facebook and twitter was superb.

The Midnight mass, the dance party, the exchange of presents, the consumption of my mother’s food which I missed so much, and the feasting on the local-Christmas drinks and eats like Sorrel, and Black Cake, sealed the deal. Christmas is taking a great shape. I say it is taking great shape, because Christmas as a season has only just begun. My hope is that we may all have a wonderful Christmas season.

With this I remind myself of the reason for this splendid and unique season. Christ Jesus Himself. “Oh, come let us Adore HIM — Christ the Lord.”

Clearly, this post is random, it has no theme, and I like it that way. Sometimes the random is the best. Thus, it is great to reconnect with you, you and You. May Peace on Earth be yours today and always.

So, how is your Christmas season going? And if you don’t celebrate Christmas, how has this holiday season been for you?

May God bless you and You. (This quote speaks how I feel today:) “I loved words. I love to sing them and speak them and even now, I must admit, I have fallen into the joy of writing them.”Anne Rice

  2. Indeed, it is always good to be a blessing to someone, especially at Christmas. Too often we forget the less fortunate. Thanks for the thoughts. And continue to enjoy the Christmas season. God bless you and order your steps.

  3. Happy New Year to you, Ceez! I’m sure that being home during the holidays is comparable to nothing else. On writing: “Ceez the moment!” Make it happen!
